Productivity is all about getting your work done in an efficient way by making the most out of the time. People follow many different tactics to be productive. I also follow some hacks that work well for me. Because of this, I end up ticking off all the tasks on my to-do list.

That’s why I consider myself a productive person. I don’t really have to go hard to be a productive person I just follow some little tricks and that works wonders for me.

Today I’m going to share these tips with you. So if you are someone who is not able to make the most out of your day, you can find something useful here.

1. Make your bed

You may read it everywhere, but wonder how making a bed can help you be more productive. So here is the trick. Bed covers a large area of your room and when your bed is messy it creates a mess in your mind as well.

For a creative mind, you need a tidy and clean room and that’s when making a bed helps you. Making bed literally takes 2 minutes but it can make your day much better. You should definitely add making a bed to your morning routine.

I make my bed every morning and I feel an instant boost in myself. Seeing the clean room always helps me to get more productive.

2. Get a Planner

If you haven’t used a planner yet, you are missing out a lot. A planner is the ultimate thing you need to make your day the best and most productive.

Since I started using a planner I get more things done on time. Because when I write down my goals for the day in the planner I tend to push myself to work toward those goals.

After work is done, I check off my to-do, and that gives me ultimate pleasure. That’s why I love using a planner.

There are many good planners available in the market. New year is around the corner and it is the right time to get a new planner and start planning.

3. Divide a big task into small steps

Sometimes I aim to achieve big tasks but it is tough to complete the task in one go and that’s when this tip comes in handy. Every big task should include small steps that can bring the goal to reality.

Suppose I have a goal to publish a blog today. Publishing a blog in one day is a big task because it does not only include writing it comes with editing, designing, and publishing. I’ll divide this goal into all these small steps, and I’ll do them one by one.

This way I’ll complete my task of the day.

4. Start your day with the toughest task

You’ll have some tough and easy tasks to do in the day. You have to start your day with a task that is going to take a long time. Because in the morning you have more energy so you drain your all energy on the most important task.

After your important task is done you have another small task that you can easily do in the afternoon and evening.

5. Declutter your workspace

Clutter space always fills your mind with the mess. Nobody likes messy areas and a messy area can easily distract you from your work. So before starting working, you’ve to declutter your work area.

Keep all the things in place and you can keep a plant or candle in your workspace to boost your mood. It minimam takes 2 minutes to organize your desk but it can make your day productive.
